All new episodes arrive on Disney+ in January 2024
Marvel released, this Friday (3), the first trailer for Echoseries derived from Archer hawk (2021), which marks the return of the character played by Alaqua Cox. In the preview, we see Maya Lopez facing the King of crime (Vincent D’Onofrio), after failing in her attempt to save him.
Along with the trailer, Marvel also announced that, contrary to what was previously expected by fans, the series will no longer premiere this November and will now arrive in full on Disney+ on January 10, 2024. Check out the news:
In the comics, Eco was the first character to take on the title of Ronin even before Clint Barton, who used the alter ego in “Avengers: Endgame” after losing his family to the snap of Thanos (Josh Brolin). She is deaf and the franchise’s first Native American heroine. This is the debut role for Cox, who is also deaf and Native American.
Little is known about the novel’s plot, but according to information from ScreenGeekthe Black Knife Cartel (Black Knife Cartel, in the original) will be the villain of the moment. In the comics, the group is a drug cartel where all members have an X mark on their foreheads.
The gang was presented, for the first time, in comics starring the Mercenary (Wilson Bethel), an old enemy of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox). Followers were unable to follow the rivalry between the two characters during the series on Netflix due to the cancellation of production. However, to the delight of fans, the Daredevil interpreter is already guaranteed in Echo.
