Captain America 4 is scheduled for 2025
At the end ofEnd of the Avengers game, Steve Rogers laid down his weapons. Or rather, his shield. But that doesn’t mean Captain America no longer exists. With the series Falcon and the Winter Soldier, we saw Sam Wilson take the baton. He is therefore the one who will be in charge of the next film Captain America: Brave New World. Played again by Anthony Mackie, the superhero will not be alone. In fact, we will see the return of several characters in the feature film. Thaddeus Ross, played this time by Harrison Ford after the death of William Hurt, or even Liv Tyler, who reprises her role as Betty Ross.
Like many productions, Captain America 4 was hit by strikes in Hollywood. The film was delayed and logically Marvel Studios was forced to do it postpone the release date to 2025, just like those of other upcoming Marvel films. However, it is possible that this postponement will ultimately prove beneficial Captain America 4 for in the meantime many changes will take place.
Three main sequences removed
The production of Captain America 4 obviously it’s far from over. But as often happens with this type of film, test screenings have already been organized. Only, the first feedback would be very negative believe theinternal Jeff Sneider. For this reason the film should benefit from it many takes.
Of course, all successful films usually get revived. Except in the case of Captain America 4, three major sequences should ultimately be removed. And the new shots, scheduled between January and May, should allow their replacement. So this is not very reassuring. Because it wouldn’t simply be a matter of cutting a few small scenes to, for example, increase the pace of the feature film. But it’s nice to see a lot of the work again.
Luckily, Marvel Studios still has time to refine the film and make the necessary changes. But when we also see the complicated production of Lamawhich saw its star on the verge of jumping ship, the sequel to the MCU is definitely having trouble getting ready…
