He was the first Argentinian to go on stage. And one of the big winners of the day. No doubt: Bizarrap has won three Latin Grammy Awards during the ceremony which took place in Seville, Spain.
Excited and perhaps even a little surprised, the producer found himself with three statuettes: for Best Urban Songin which he was nominated for “Bizarrap Music Sessions, Vol. 52”, with Quevedo; Best Pop Song, corresponding to “Bizarrap Music Sessions, Vol. 53” which he recorded with Shakira; and finally that of Song of the year again with the Colombian singer.
“I’m not used to speaking, but the recognition they are giving to this project that I started, in my room, with a computer, is impressive. Thank you very much,” Biza said.
And his smile, of course, was one of the most sought after at the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions in the city of Seville, where he the 24th Latin Grammy Awards gala.
There were of course other personalities who experienced a magical night, like Shakira herself and Karol G. In addition, from the Ástor Piazzolla Quintet (she won the award for best tango album), Nathy Peluso (crowned in category Best Short Version Music Video) and Dante Spinetta (Best Alternative Song for “The Dark Side of the Heart”).
