Andre Braugher, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine actor, has died at the age of 61

The news was confirmed by Jennifer Allenrepresentative of the actor, who revealed to Different that the actor passed away on Monday without giving further details on the illness the actor was afflicted with. Braugher is survived by his wife Ami Brabson and his three children, he was 61 years old.

Last of four siblings, Andre Braugher he studied at Stanford University and later at the Juilliard School in New York. He made his debut in 1989 in the role of a detective Winston Blake in the teleserye Kojak; in the same year he also made his big screen film debut Men of Glory Of Edward Zwick.
