French films of all genres
After taking a look at the blockbusters, horror films, animated films, and even arthouse films lined up for 2024, we couldn’t end the year without mentioning French films. Because many projects have something to draw attention to, starting with A silence (January 10), the new feature film by Joachim Lafosse with Emmanuelle Devos and Daniel Auteuil. A fairly mysterious drama for the moment, as evidenced by its synopsis:
Silent for 25 years, Astrid, wife of a famous lawyer, sees her family balance collapse when her children leave in search of justice.
Also from the month of January, we will check the date of the 24th to find out Prisoners, with an excellent Mélanie Thierry locked up in the Salpêtrière hospital. Another type of madness will then be highlighted Daaaaaali! (February 7)the new Quentin Dupieux coming off a great success Yannick.
They add to this The beast by Bertrand Bonello with Léa Seydoux (7 February), e The empire (February 21) by Bruno Dumonta sort of French Star Wars… And we can also hope to see it arrive later in the year Emmanuelle FromAudrey Diwanremake of the cult erotic film, this time with Noémie Merlant and Naomi Watts, filming of which is currently underway.
Very heavy at the end of the year
In the last quarter of the year, French cinema was able to attract numerous spectators with four films. Already on October 16th there will be strong competition between Largo Winch: The Price of Moneywhich marks the return of Tomer Sisley in the role of the famous comic book character, 16 years after the second work, and I love it, ughthe new film by Gilles Lellouche.
For this reason, the actor and director was not afraid. His feature film would last more than 3 hours! And the casting at least lives up to its ambitions with François Civil, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Benoît Poelvoorde, Anthony Bajon, Alain Chabat, Élodie Bouchez, Jean-Pascal Zadi and Vincent Lacoste.

The following week, on October 23, an event film will be released featuring Mr Aznavour, a biopic about the famous singer of Grand Corps Malade and Mehdi Idir, and with Tahar Rahim playing him. Then, to end the year on a high note, Pierre Niney will wear the costume of Count of Monte Cristo (December 11th) in an adventure film by Matthieu Delaporte and Alexandre de La Patellière, which promises to be as ambitious as the two parts The Three Musketeers.
