Echoa new series from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, is now available, in full, on Disney’s digital platforms and, despite being a production from the franchise’s new label, the Marvel Spotlightand not being fully linked to the main story, brought a post-credits scene, which gives clues to what to expect in future Marvel productions.

Warning: the following text contains spoilers for “Maya”, the last episode of Echonow available on Disney+ and Star+.

In the post-credits scene, we see Wilson FiskO King of crime (Vincent D’Onofrio) after his clash with Maya Lopez (Alaqua Cox). She is on her private plane and absentmindedly watches the news on a television.

During a debate, the program’s hosts say that New York is in need of a new representative, “someone who is a fighter, which goes against career politicians”, to solve the city’s problems.

He turns up the volume and starts paying attention to the conversation while the presenters continue saying that “voters want someone who understands their pain, the frustration they go through.” They still question whether a candidate like that had already emerged and, if not, would there still be time for it.

Upon hearing the speech, Fisk he leans in, showing himself very interested in the electoral dispute before the scene ends, which leads us to think that he would be interested in running for mayor of New York, as has already happened in the Marvel comics.

The post-credits scene is a clear indication that, in Daredevil: Born Again (Daredevil: Rebornin free translation), new series of the hero played by Charlie Coxwhen will we have the return of Fiskthe villain may be campaigning to become mayor of New York City and this is the plot of the new film, which has no release date yet, but has recently undergone a reformulation and should begin filming soon.
