This is one of the biggest events of Netflix for the year 2024 and its original French productions. 71 years after the great thriller by Henri-Georges Clouzot, The wages of fear with Yves Montand, Charles Vanel, Peter Van Eyck and Folco Lulli, Julien Leclercq (The Assault, Thieves) was tasked with producing a contemporary remake of the film.

To stage this story of transporting explosive material, he brought together a very nice cast, featuring stars well known to Netflix subscribers. We can finally take a look at the first images with the airing of a first teaser (at the top of the article).

The first two roles, in fact, are played by Franck Gastambide and Alban Lenoir. The former was recently the lead role in Tirelesslynote of the Korean success Tiring dayand the second became theaction hero French platform with the saga Lost bullet AND AKA. They are accompanied in the casting by Ana Girardot, Sofiane Zermani, Birol Tarkan Yıldız and Joseph Beddelem.

The story faithfully repeats the concept of Clouzot’s film, through the extremely dangerous and urgent transport of a load of nitroglycerin to put an end to a devastating fire at an oil drilling site.
