Leslie Jordan didn’t recognize Lady Gaga the first time she saw her on the set of American Horror Story
Leslie Jordan did not recognize Lady Gaga when the singer filmed the season of American Horror Story in 2016. The star of Will & Grace (1998) thought that Gaga was an extra on set. (via people)
“The first day, I showed up and there was a girl there and she said, ‘Leslieyou already met Stefani?’,” the actor recalled in an episode of Trailblazers Radio with Fancy Hagood. the real name of Gaga It is Stefani Germanottatherefore, Jordan did not recognize her. “I thought maybe she was an extra. I didn’t know who she was.”
The comedian then replied, “Nice to meet you. Welcome aboard,” and walked away from the actress who won a Golden Globe a few months earlier for the lead role in the previous season of American Horror Story.
“They could have told me,” said Jordan, claiming he hoped someone would correct him for the mistake. “They could have said, ‘Lesliethis is Gaga.’ I would say, ‘uhm.’ And they would say, ‘yes, she is the Gaga.’ And she was adorable.”
