A new story for the universe of The Lords

Driven by the beautiful welcome of The Lords When it hit theaters in 2020, Guy Ritchie decided to develop a series set in the same universe. In this spin-off, this time we will follow Eddie Horniman, a young man who inherits his father’s huge mansion and estate after his death. Eddie soon finds out his father was part of a huge cannabis trafficking empire. He then finds himself immersed in a world he doesn’t know.

For his series The Lords, Guy Ritchie used a completely new cast compared to the film released four years ago. This is Teo Giacomo who was chosen to play Eddie Horniman, and therefore carry forward this new story. Alongside him, Kaya Scodelario, Daniel Ings, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones and Giancarlo Esposito also obtained important roles.

Guy Ritchie imposes his style in the trailer

After a first teaser revealed several weeks ago, Netflix has published new images of the The Lords. We find Eddie there as he discovers his father’s secret. Soon several gangsters seem interested in what the young man has inherited. The latter will try to free himself from it by adopting himself their unsavory practices. But the situation should pass him by quickly.

According to the trailer, we should be treated The Lords has a fast-paced story, colorful characters and ferocious dialogue. A typical production of what we can expect from Guy Ritchie.

We will still have to wait almost two weeks before we can find out eight episodes who composes The Lords. They will disembark next March 7th on Netflix.
