A video game based on the ‘Paranormal Activity’ franchise is in development
A video game based on the franchise Paranormal activity should be released in 2026 by DreadXP, the studio also responsible for The Mortuary Assistant. The game “will bring the franchise’s innovative found-footage style to horror enthusiasts in surprising ways, immersing them in a story that expands the narrative and world of films,” describe DreadXP and Paramount Global .
The game will be available on several platforms and will have a version with a “Haunting System” that “will dynamically change the types and intensity of scares that players will encounter based on their actions.”
