NBCUniversal Raises Unscripted Executive Benny Reuven (Exclusive)

NBCUniversal is promoting one of its non-writing executives.

Benny Reuven became Senior Vice President of Entertainment for Unencrypted Content at NBCU Television and Streaming. The former CEO of Oxygen reports to Stephanie Style, senior vice president of production and development for unscripted entertainment.

In his new role, Reuven will oversee the development of select documentaries and lifestyle programming for NBC, Peacock and cable facilities under the NBCU Television and Streaming umbrella.

While at Oxygen, Reuven was a key player in the network’s rebranding as Oxygen True Crime and developed several of its series, including Holiday murder, the sign of a serial killer s killer brothers. He is also the executive responsible for producing Peacock’s Hart to Heart, Olympic Highlights with Kevin Hart and Snoop Dogg, WWE Evil And other shows.

Reuven has been with NBCUniversal since 2014, when he was named vice president of programming and development at Wilshire Studios. He came from OWN to NBCU, where he was executive director of programming and development while managing the cable network.

Rouven has also worked as a producer on several unwritten series and interviews, starting with doctor phil CBS nation of children in the food web Cook Wanted along with Anne Burrell.
