Quiet on Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV, which received the national title of O Lado Sombrio da TV Infantil, arrives in April on Max
Max announced, this Thursday (28), that the documentary Quiet on Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TVa documentary series about the dark behind-the-scenes of Nickelodeon, one of the most popular children’s channels on TV, already has a date to arrive in Brazil.
The novelty of Investigação Discovery, which received the national title of The Dark Side of Children’s TVaddresses alleged cases of moral and sexual harassment behind the scenes of successful productions such as Zoey 101 (2005-2008), Icarly (2007-2012), Brilliant victory (2010-2013), Drake & Josh (2004-2007), Sam & Cat (2013-2014) and Amanda’s Show (1999-2002).
One of the focuses of the series is the producer Dan Schneiderdescribed as the “golden boy” and responsible for the channel’s main successes, such as those mentioned above. “For 20 years, he shaped children’s entertainment and culture. But it marked one of the darkest chapters [da TV]”explains the writer Scaachi Koul in the first trailer released.
