“But the main reason is: Lucas is someone who cares so much about Max and with everyone but he sees Max in a way that no one else has seen her, and that terrifies her,” continued Sadie Sink. “So there was probably a point where he was trying to snoop around or something. He could see how something was wrong, and she didn’t want any of that, so it wasn’t his fault I guess!”
