The Saw saga is still far from being buried
The horrible saga Saw, started by James Wan and Leigh Whannell in 2004, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year. After ten sequels released in theaters, the last of which last October, John Kramer’s (Tobin Bell) morbid journey is still far from over. Always at the center of the story, Kramer and the disciples he subsequently trained, double their ingenuity to inflict the worst suffering on those to whom they try to teach the value of life.

We found John Kramer, sick, even though he was happy to have finally found a cure for his illness, which was considered incurable. But once in Mexico, he realized that it was all a scam, intended to extort money from sick people who would do anything to get well. Of course, he quickly found all those who had deceived him and inflicted the worst abuses on them to punish them.
This I saw X it was a great success in theaters, with more than one hundred million dollars in takings, for a budget estimated at just 13 million dollars. Enough to make the studio want to continue the adventure with an eleventh part.
John Kramer’s return has been delayed by a year
While I saw XI had been dated to September 2024 (for the 20th anniversary of the first film), Lionsgate studios have finally decided to push it back a full year, as it will be released in September 2025 in the United States (and certainly October 2025 in France). . Directed again by Kevin Greutert (already at the helm of the last one and editor of the first five films), the film should also take place between two parts of the saga. We will therefore find John Kramer once again, while he will have to develop very ingenious morbid traps.
