The big releases of the week of May 8th
Seven years later Planet of the Apes: Supremacypublishes a new work of the famous franchise, Planet of the Apes: The New Kingdom. Directed this time by Wes Ball (The maze), the film is set long after the events of the previous trilogy. While Caesar’s reign is long gone and forgotten, the apes have regained power, while humans have returned to nature. At least some of them, as some will try to change things, like Nova (Freya Allan), who will be helped in his search by Noa (Owen Teague), a young ape who does not accept the tyranny imposed by Proximus Caesar (Kevin Durand).
Planet of the Apes: The New Kingdom it will be THE film by cits week of May 8. There is no doubt that its visual qualities will attract audiences. But it is also this week, or more precisely May 14th, that Quentin Dupieux (Yannick) will come back with The second act, led by a solid cast that includes Léa Seydoux, Louis Garrel, Vincent Lindon and Raphaël Quenard. Finally, for a younger audience, the release of Blue & Companya family comedy in which a young girl discovers that she can see people’s imaginary friends.

His childhood friend will then return to the town of Rochebrune in the hope of finding him before the authorities.
