The filming of Mission: Impossible 8 quit
The production of the new film Mission Impossible recently encountered a serious problem. Already limited by the Covid-19 pandemic, then by the strikes of actors and actresses in the summer of 2023, the calendar suffered another blow with a serious accident in filming. Bad news for Paramount
This new annoyance adds to a long list of complications for the eighth work of the saga led by Tom Cruise. Originally planned to be filmed soon after Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1and then titled Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 2, the new film was initially postponed. Then the Hollywood strikes came into play, along with underperformance Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part 1 at the box office.
A failure, and a loss of 100 million dollars for Paramount studios, which caused considerable consequences withdrawal of the title Surrender of the Dead, Part 2 – although continuity between the two films is preserved. Nowadays, Mission: Impossible 8 it doesn’t have a new official title yet.
The tension is therefore very high regarding the production of this new work. A Daily Mail source said:
