Shortly after the release ofUnexplored and its excellent start in theaters in February 2022, the head of Sony announces Unexplored it will become a film franchise. And in August 2023, it was producer Charles Roven who confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that a sequel was indeed in the works.
We had a lot of fun with “Uncharted.” Fans loved the result, and even people who knew nothing about the game loved the movie. So obviously we want to do another one.
If for the moment no official announcement or filming date has been communicated, it is therefore safe to bet that Tom Holland’s return as Nathan Drake becomes clearer every day…
