In one week, Xavier Gens’ film has accumulated more than 40 million views, one of the best debuts of all time for a Netflix film. Under the Seine it is especially popular in the United Stateswhere it received rave reviews from local media, some even comparing it to Steven Spielberg’s classic, Jaws.

Stephen King gives his opinion on the Netflix film
As he often does, horror master Stephen King expressed his opinion on the matter Under the Seine on his social networks. And the least we can say is that he really enjoyed this damn little Parisian ride.
I thought “Under the Seine” was going to be a fun movie, like “Sharknado,” but Twitter convinced me to watch it, and it’s really good. The last 25 minutes were incredible.
An opinion that should please the film’s director Xavier Gens very much. Waiting for the sequel?
