According to Screen Rant, Kim will team up with Gus Fring to defeat Lalo Salamanca in Better Call Saul
[Atenção: o texto contém spoilers da 6ª temporada de Better Call Saul]
One of the biggest mysteries of Better Call Saul is the fate of Kim WexlerInterpreted by Rhea Seehornwho does not appear or is mentioned in the five seasons of breaking badthe series that originated the franchise created by Vince Gilligan.
Until the first part of the sixth season, several characters that only appeared in the spin-off met their death, among them Chuck (Michael McKean), nacho (Michael Mando) and Howard (Patrick Fabian). According to the theory of Screen Rant, Kim survive the events of Better Call Saul and works for Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito) in breaking bad.
As the site explained, even with the deaths of these key characters in the spin-off, that doesn’t mean how Kim Wexler necessarily need to die before the end of production. To kill Kim after the death of Chuck, nacho and Howard may seem uninspired, and would be something that would not inspire Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) to continue with the persona of Saul Goodman.
There is a possibility of Better Call Saul make a retcon (alteration of facts previously established in the continuity) of breaking bad and reveal how Kim was on the show the whole time. If that’s the case, she can start working to Gus Fringand offer the villain the same legal assistance as Saul Goodman offers to low-level criminals.
It is worth remembering how the spin-off shows Kim on a path of no return to a life of crime and corruption – and you can even see similarities between her journey from Walter Whiteprotagonist of Breaking Bad played by Bryan Cranston.
Kim can no longer let go of Lalo and Gus Fring
the journey of Kim towards a life of crime and morally corrupt decisions is much more difficult to reverse, because she saw Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton) murder Howard cold blood. Lalo he wouldn’t just let her report this event to the authorities. In the second part of season 6, she will be involved in the cover-up of a murder, at a point of no return.
With this scenario of conflict with Lalo, Kim may need to join Gus at the end of Better Call Saul to protect her and her husband, Jimmy. That is, it means how the character of Rhea Seehorn is around during breaking badprobably as an employee of Gus Fring.
