With the most different painting styles, the arts in question were made based on photographs of various celebrities: Hebe Camargo, Fernanda Montenegro, Gilberto Gil, David Bowie, Carmen Miranda, Elis Regina, Salvador Dali, Jimi Hendrix, Leonard Nimoy It is Brigitte Bardot. See below:

In 1995, Rita Lee dressed up as a saint and angered the Church [FLASHBACK]
Rita Leeone of the greatest singers and songwriters in the history of Brazilian music, died on May 8, 2023, at the age of 75. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2021 and went into remission from the disease in April of this year. In February of this year, she was rushed to the Albert Einstein Hospital again for monitoring tests and the side effects of the treatment.
During a performance held on February 4, 1995, in Rio de Janeiro, honoring the stigmas of being a “mutant” and “rebel”, the singer dressed in a costume that resembled Our Lady of Aparecida, considered by the Catholic Church to be the patron saint of Brazil, and prayed the “Ave Maria” before playing the song. “All the Women in the World”.
At the time, the Archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro released an official protest note that blamed “those responsible and also the sponsors of these performances”. Check out the full statement and images of the costume used by Rita:
“Among other signs of serious moral decay was the show recently held at MaracanĂ£. In addition to drugs and nudity, they offended the religious feelings of the majority of the population by involving the figure of the Virgin Mary in so many offenses against her Son. Those responsible are also the sponsors of these performances and the spectators who, with their presence, supported such irregularities. This act of repulsion is an imperative duty of Catholics and people of good sense.”

The costume was later displayed at the Museum of Image and Sound (MIS) in an exhibition that celebrated the 73rd anniversary of Rita Lee and remained open to the public until November 2021.
The exhibition, curated by John Leethe artist’s son, presented iconic costumes worn by Rita Leand articles from the singer’s childhood and includes installations that represent the romances and difficult moments she experienced during the military dictatorship.
Although she was known as the Queen of Rock, the artist declared to Rolling Stone Brazil who thought the term was tacky.
