Lady Gaga’s representatives have yet to issue an official statement explaining the reason for this decision.

Lady Gaga was one of the big surprises in 2024 Olympics Opening Ceremonyheld in Paris. The artist sang a classic French song by Zizi Jeanmaire (‘My Plumes Truc‘). However, what caused the most surprise was the fact that his presentation was recorded a few hours before the official start of the ceremony, and noit happenedto thealive during transmission.

The performance featured Gaga and a team of eight dancers, the artist wore a long black dress with pink feathers, designed by Christian Dior.

Despite speculation surrounding the reason for the recorded performance, representatives for Lady Gaga have not yet issued any official statement explaining the reason for this decision. A reporter from Associated Pressnoted that the singer began warming up and rehearsing about three hours before the ceremony began, performing for approximately an hour before waving to fans and leaving.
