New season of the series, based on The Lord of the Rings, a work by JRR Tolkien, returns from August 29th on the streaming platform
Prime Video released, this Wednesday (14), a new trailer for the second season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Powerbased on the work of JRR Tolkien, which takes place during the so-called Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before the events presented in the films.
In the new episodes, Sauron is back and, after being kicked out by Galadrielwith no army or allies, the Dark Lord has only himself to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle-earth to his sinister will. The cast of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power has names like Morfydd Clark (Killer Predators), Owain Arthur (The Confession), Nazanin Boniadi (How I Met Your Mother), Tom Budge (The Proposal), Charles Edwards (The Crown), Robert Aramayo (Antebellum), Ismael Cruz Cordova (The Undoing), Emma Horvath (The Mortuary Collection), Markella Kavenagh (Picnic at Hanging Rock) and Joseph Mawle (game of Thrones), between others.
