Glen Powell is already a star and soon he will be even more so. Strong in success as Top Gun: Nonconformist AND Everything but youstar of the blockbuster Twister and brilliant in Richard Linklater’s romantic comedy Hitmanthe 35-year-old American actor speeds up the stairs to the top of Hollywood. So it’s time to move on and keep the spotlight on his devastating charm and smile. But without going into too much detail the caricature of the beautiful boyand this is what his new project indicates, for which he appears unrecognisable a first image.

There is no doubt about it: it is not Tom Cruise, but rather Glen Powell disguised and enlarged to play the American football player. Russ Holliday. He is the quarterback of a college team, but his bad behavior and impulsive nature cause him to be excluded. Far from accepting this decision, he then decides to assume another identity and another appearance to rejoin the team, under the name of “Powers of Chad“, much nicer than Russ Holiday.
The series is inspired by a hoax led by former American football player Eli Manning, who infiltrated incognito on the Penn State team to try out, under the name Chad Powers.
As already happened for HitmanGlen Powell will co-write the pilot for this new series and will also serve as an executive producer.
