In a moving post on Instagram, María Becerra has confessed the sad news that she has just lost a pregnancy.
The artist, accompanied by J Rei, her partner, shared an image in a clinic and explained that she was facing an ectopic pregnancya condition in which the fertilized egg implants outside the uterus.
In the message, Maria explained that medical intervention was necessary after experiencing intense abdominal pain.
“Yesterday we had to face an unexpected situation. After a rehearsal I felt a very strong pain and we went to the emergency room, where we discovered that the pregnancy was ectopic and that there was a hemorrhage,” explained the singer.
The ectopic pregnancy, which can be potentially dangerous, forced the artist to undergo surgery. Fortunately, the operation was successful and the singer is in full recovery, surrounded by her partner and close entourage.
“We wanted to be parents and have a baby.. Although this experience has been very difficult emotionally, we continue to hope for a future full of love and possibilities,” he added, in addition to thanking his family and friends for their support.
“We want you to know that we are doing well and that, according to the doctors, I will gradually return to my routine and work,” he said.
