Super Ratones surprises with the classic “Los Dinosaurios” with Los Tipitos

Súper Ratones presents its version of “Los Dinosaurios”, The classic by Charly García. And he does it with Los Tipitos.

The song will be part of “Camouflage”, the new album of the Mar del Plata group that will bring together a compilation of covers and rarities that they have made during their last 15 years of history.

As emblematic as it is little publicized, The song that Charly released on his album “Clics Modernos” takes on new momentum here.

A little over 40 years after the original was released, this encounter between Súper Ratones and Los Tipitos (recorded live at the Teatro Ópera in May 2018) respects García’s instrumental arrangements, while surprising and captivating with the four-part harmonies, which give such a popular and beloved piece a new opportunity to generate enthusiasm.

“Los Dinosaurios” is said to be the first single from “Camouflage”, an album of 12 versions by national and international artists. (six in Spanish, six in English) plus a review of some of our own classics.

The curious thing is that it is not a covers album made for the occasion, but Súper Ratones wanted to rescue a handful of songs almost hidden in their catalog, recorded for tribute albums released in Argentina, the United States and Europe (especially in Spain, where the group has been performing successfully for more than 20 years).
