The reproduction of the era and the consequences of the war testifies to the considerable resources put at Steve McQueen’s disposal. The film’s budget has not been announced, but lately Apple tends to spend generously on its productions.
When and where to see the film?
It’s really on Apple TV+ that we can discover Blitz. It is obviously a shame that the film cannot benefit from a theatrical release. Especially since for this feature film Steve McQueen collaborated with director of photography Yorick Le Saux, in charge of the photography of Dr. March’s Daughters (2020). The music was composed by Hans Zimmer. Besides, the wait won’t be too long to see Blitz. Apple TV+ will put it online next November 22nd.
