doja cat lost over 200k followers on Instagram after criticizing Noah Schnappstar of Stranger Thingspublicly for leaking messages on Instagram, according to information from the NME.
The 26-year-old singer recently responded to the singer of Will in the series created by the brothers duffer for sharing private messages, in which she asked the actor to put her in touch with Joseph Quinnwho participated in the fourth season of Stranger Things.
In a live made on Instagram, doja cat said how he “didn’t feel comfortable” with schnapp sharing the message publicly on social media, and described the attitude as “socially unconscious and crazy”.
“First, let’s try to be calm about it,” said the artist at the time. “To be fair, this is like a child. Noah, I don’t know how old he is, but he’s not even more than 21. When you’re that young, you make mistakes, you make s***. I’m trying to be super fair. You say and make me f*** stupid. You f*** relationships with people, make mistakes.”

In a video posted by schnapp on TikTok, the actor who plays Will on the series shared a screenshot of a conversation between him and the rapper. The video starts with a fan displaying the comment of doja in a photo of Quinn on twitter with caption: “dojalook how well Joseph Quinn it is.” And the singer replied: “It becomes a crime.”
Then, schnapp shows the conversation between them, with doja asking: “Noah you can tell the Joseph for hm? Do not wait. Does he have a girlfriend?” So, actor encourages her to call him, “DM me [mensagem direta] for him,” but she replies, “I don’t know his Instagram or Twitter. He doesn’t have a DM for me to text.”

To solve the problem, schnapp sent the profile of Quinn to the rapper, replying, “Here it is, ma’am.” Of course, the actor’s TikTok has gained repercussion among the series’ audience, who are excited about the possibility of a new couple. “Joseph Quinnreact, man, is the doja cat wanting you,” wrote one Twitter account.
