Iconic interpreter of Monica Geller in the 10 seasons of Friendsa comedy series that turned 30 last Sunday, the 22nd, Courteney Cox gave his opinion on a possible reboot of the series, also starring Jennifer Aniston (Rachel Green), Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe Buffay), Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) and David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) and Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing).
During an interview with People, Cox was quite hesitant about the idea, and explained how he “can’t imagine” a second version of the production created by Marta Kauffman and David Crane.
“It’s hard to try to remake anything. Anything with ‘re’ in front of this group… I think it’s so special,” she said. She then commented on how much love she has for Friends and the series’ legacy, something described as “incredible.”
All the jokes hold up, all the characters are so awesome and we [tivemos] the best writers in the world. I’m lucky that this continues through every generation. And that’s lucky.
