Resident Evil Is One of Netflix’s Worst Shows, According to Audiences

Resident Evil debuted on Netflix in July 2022 and did not win over the public

The new adaptation of resident Evil (2022) from Netflix was rated as one of the worst productions on streaming. The series arrived on the platform on July 14 and brought another version of the story starring Milla Jovovichhowever, she did not please the public at all.

At the Rotten Tomatoesthe audience rating is only 25% approval, while in IMDB, audiences gave the series a 3.6 rating. it makes resident Evil one of the lowest rated series in the IMDB, with the list ranging from 1.3 to 4.4 on the scale. (via NME)

According to the official synopsis, “resident Evilwill tell a new story based on two chronologies: in the first, the 14-year-old sisters Jade and Billie Wesker move to New Raccoon City, a mechanical and corporate city that imposes itself on them at the very height of adolescence. Jade and billie discover that their father may be hiding dark secrets capable of destroying the world.”

“In the second chronology, more than ten years later, Earth has less than 15 million inhabitants and more than 6 billion monsters: people and animals infected by the T-virus. Jade30, struggles to survive as she is haunted by secrets from her past that involve her sister and father.”

The cast includes names like Lance Reddick (Borders, Horizon Zero Dawn), Ella Balinska (The Panthers), Tamara Smart (The Worst of Witches), Siena Agudong (No Good Nick), Adeline Rudolph (The Chilling World of Sabrina) and Paola Nuñez (The Purge).
