Universal Pictures today released the first official trailer and poster for Halloween is overthe last film of the slasher saga created by John Carpenter in 1979. The film, which was also produced by Bloom House and direct by David Gordon Greenwhich is lined up in Italian cinemas next 20 October.

After 45 years, the most lauded and revered horror franchise in film history comes to its epic and terrifying conclusion.: Laurie Strode confront the incarnation of evil for the last time, Michael Myers, in a showdown unlike any other seen on screen. Only one of them will survive.

The icon Jamie Lee Curtis returns one last time as Laurie Strode, horror’s first “last woman” and the role that launched Curtis’ career. Curtis played Laurie for more than forty years, one of the longest actor-character pairings in film history. When the franchise relaunched in 2018, Halloween broke box office records, becoming the franchise’s highest-grossing chapter and setting a new record for the biggest opening weekend for a female-starring horror film.

Four years after the events of last year’s Halloween Kills, Laurie lives with his nephew Allyson (Andi Matichak) and he is finishing writing his memoirs. Michael Myers has not been seen since. Laurie, after allowing Michael’s ghost to define and guide her reality for decades, decides to let go of fear and anger and embrace life. But as a young man, Corey Cunningham (Rohan Campbell; The Hardy Boys, Virgin River), accused of murdering a boy in his care, unleashes violence and fear that will force Laurie to finally face the evil beyond her control, once and for all . .

Halloween Ends stars Will Patton as Agent Frank Hawkins, Kyle Richards as Lindsey Wallace and James Jude Courtney as “The Shape”.

From the creative team that relaunched the Halloween and Halloween Kills franchise in 2018, the film is directed by David Gordon Green from a screenplay by Paul Brad Logan (Manglehorn), Chris Bernier (The Driver series), Danny McBride and David Gordon Green, based on characters created by John Carpenter and Debra Hill. Halloween Ends is produced by Malek Akkad, Jason Blum and Bill Block. Executive producers are John Carpenter, Jamie Lee Curtis, Danny McBride, David Gordon Green, Ryan Freimann, Ryan Turek, Andrew Golov, Thom Zadra and Christopher H. Warner. Universal Pictures, Miramax and Blumhouse are presenting the Malek Akkad production, along with Rough House Pictures.
