Ricky Martin: Restraining order is lifted; understand

Accuser has been identified as Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, 21-year-old nephew of Ricky Martin

Temporary restraining order against Ricky Martin was by a judge withdrawn after the accuser withdrew the request, according to information from the Consequence of Sound. The person who accused was identified as Dennis Yadiel Sanchezthe singer’s 21-year-old nephew.

in the accusations, Sanchez claimed how he and martin were in a seven-month-long romantic relationship. The singer reportedly refused to accept the separation and was found wandering outside his nephew’s house on three separate occasions. The artist was also accused of physical and psychological abuse.

In a statement to TMZrepresentatives of Ricky Martin said how the decision to Dennis Yadiel Sanchez to withdraw the restriction request “was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure.”

“The accuser confirmed that he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter. The request came from the accuser asking to close the case,” added the singer’s reps. “This has never been anything more than a troubled individual making false claims with absolutely nothing to substantiate. We are delighted that our client has seen justice done and is now able to move on with his life and career.”

Ricky Martin appeared virtually during a court hearing and denied how he got involved in a relationship with his nephew. As consequence reported, the artist talked about the legal victory in a video. Of the accuser, he said: “I wish him the best and hope he finds help so he can start a new life full of love, truth and joy – and that he doesn’t hurt anyone else.”
