This Thursday January 23, Prime Video added a new action film to its catalog: The assassin’s game. Directed by JJ Perry, the feature film is an adaptation of the novel of the same name written by Jay Bonansinga and published in 1997. Its plot revolves around Joe Flood, a formidable hitman which enjoys a solid reputation in its sector. One day, the latter learns that he has contracted a serious illness and thishe doesn’t have long to live.
Catholic, Joe decides to end it but doesn’t want to commit suicide. Then he puts a bounty on his own head with other hitmen, after making sure his wife was financially secure. But he soon learns ithe was misdiagnosed and therefore he is not about to die. He must therefore do everything to protect his wife, while many assassins still plan to kill him…
A great casting led by Dave Bautista
The assassin’s game is brought by Dave Battistacast in the role of Joe Flood. The actor has already starred in two action comedies on Prime Video: My spy and its sequelThe Eternal City. In his new film, he is surrounded bya great cast.
Alongside Dave Bautista, Sofia Boutella and Pom Klementieff embody two of the main characters of The assassin’s game. Ben Kingsley, Terry Crews and Scott Adkins he will also have a role in the film directed by JJ Perry.
