Season 3 of Netflix’s ‘The Witcher’ halts production due to COVID

Netflix has stopped production Sorcerer Third season due to COVID-19.

The news comes amid unconfirmed online rumors that star Henry Cavill has tested positive for the virus, but the streamer only said that filming “is on hold due to COVID and will resume as soon as it’s safe to do so.” Cavill’s representative also declined to comment.

It’s not the first time a UK-based production has been forced to close due to a virus, with the show halting filming for a second season in 2020.

The news comes after last week’s San Diego Comic-Con, where fans were wondering if the Superman actor could make an appearance at DC. Shazam! s black adam Panels, then numb when Adam Star Dwayne Johnson has apparently casually hinted that someone else could take on the iconic role. Johnson also assured in the interview: “Henry is a friend and he is a phenomenal Superman, and Henry Cavill is the Superman of our generation in relation to other Supermans of the past”.
