THE Apple TV+ announced Mr. Scorsesea documentary series in five parts that promises to dive deep into the life and career of Martin Scorsese. Directed by REBECCA MILLER (She Came to Me, Personal Velocity), the production will feature unpublished interviews, access to the filmmaker’s personal collection and conversations with big names in cinema and music.

Among the confirmed participants are ROBERT DE NIRO, Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg, Daniel Day-Lewis, Margot Robbie, Cate Blanchett, Sharon Stone, Jodie Foster and Mick Jagger. Family and childhood friends of the director will also be present in the project, still without debut, but with launch scheduled for “soon”.

Second Millerthe documentary began as a unique film, but expanded over five years of production: “Life and the work of Scroese They are so rich that the project has grown naturally. Performing it was one of the most striking experiences of my career as director, ”he said.

The series will follow from the first shorts of Scroese as a student at NYU to the present day. Your most recent work, Flower Moon Assassins (2023), was widely praised by critics and nominated for several awards.

Beyond this series, Scroese is also involved in the production of a posthumous documentary on the Pope Franciswith your last interview recorded on video. And, as if that were not enough, the director also announced an unusual partnership with Dwayne Johnson for a future project.
