35 years after its original launch, it has just been re -entered “New Luna”, Marciano Cantero’s first solo album.
The historical work, which saw the light in 1990 after the temporal separation of the green dwarfs, returns as a jewel saved from Argentine rock from the 90s, with all the intact emotion.
With an aesthetic marked by pop -rok and New Wave touches, “New Moon” has shown A much more introspective and experimental facet of the musician Mendoza recalled.
It was entirely composed, produced and recorded by him, with the fundamental contribution of Jorge Zangheri in piano and keyboards. Marciano took care of voices, guitars, bass, keyboards and programs, in an artistic gesture as complete as personal.
Songs like “all these moments” (which have become a success in Chile), “When You See You Again” and “this” (recently relaunched as advanced), they reflect subjects such as love, nostalgia and the passage of time.
At the time, “New Luna” had little broadcast in Argentina and was published in a very limited roll, which transformed it into an object of worship for collectors and fans who followed it in vinyl or cassettes by fairs and specialized stores.
“New Luna” list
I go from here to there
Or maybe you
Impartial nose
It’s been a long time
When you still give yourself back
All these moments
GANYMEDE manner
THIS
I already know
If I were a cat
