Kate Flannery, actress who plays Meredith, spoke about the improvised Steve Carell scene that made her laugh the most in The Office

A scene from one of the most beloved episodes of The Officewas improvised, which is not unusual for Steve Carell, interpreter of Michael Scott. However, in an interview for the podcast Inside of You with Michael Rosenbaum (via screenrant),Kate Flannery actress who does Meredith told about the improvised scene of Carell that made her laugh the most during the recordings.

In the third episode of the 2nd season, flannery account that Carell stole the show during the closing of the office Olympics, where Jim and Pam coordinate a mini Olympics using office supplies while Michael Scott is buying an apartment.

“So they gave Michael the gold medal, he’s at the top. And they played the theme of the Olympics, and all of a sudden, during one of the takes, Steve Carell started crying. Because he really gets emotional about the music of the Olympics. It wasn’t in the script and I’m like, this is so funny.”
