Actor, in theaters with one battle after another, gave his interpretation of the ambiguous final of Martin Scorsese’s film

In an interview with Podcast New heightsthe actor shared his vision about the final scene of suspense directed by Martin Scorsese (Flower Moon Assassins). Check out what he thinks below:

What is the movie?

Set in 1954, the film follows the detective Teddy Daniels (Dicaprio), which travels to a psychiatric hospital on an isolated island to investigate a patient’s disappearance. Next to his partner Chuck (Mark Ruffalo, Zodiac), he comes across enigmatic doctors, contradictory clues and an increasingly suffocating atmosphere. As the investigation advances, Teddy begins to question not only the secrets of the institution, but also his own sanity, in a plot that mixes psychological suspense, mystery and personal trauma.

What is the DiCaprio version for the end of your character?

When asked if Teddy knew, Dicaprio he responded: “I think Scorsese wanted it to be open. But I have my answer. For me, he could not deal with the pain of what had happened, and decides to get into it to end the pain”He said. According to him, Teddy’s gaze in the end indicates that the character knows exactly what is happening.
