Series derived from ‘The Office’ is canceled

Australian production was produced by Prime Video, Amazon’s streaming platform, and starred comedian Felicity Ward

Released by Prime Video in October 2024, the Australian version of The Officewhich featured, for the first time in more than twenty years, a female protagonist, was canceled after its first season.

The 13th adaptation of sitcom created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchantand released in 2001 — which became more famous in its American version, shown between 2005 and 2013 — starred the actress and comedian Felicity Ward (Wakefield).

What is the story of the new The Office?

In history, Ward interprets Hannahhead of a branch of the packaging company Finley Craddick, who is surprised by the news that her office will be closed and everyone will work from home.

Desperate, she goes into survival mode, making promises she can’t keep, just to keep her “work family” together. Now everyone has to endure the plots of Hannah as they work to achieve impossible goals set for them. Watch the trailer:
