After a few months of silence around Black Panther: Wakanda Forevernew confirmations are emerging on what seems to be the film’s designated villain.

“I think this film had a different kind of pressure than we’re used to – obviously due to the completely unexpected and unprecedented loss of Chadwick – and we had to figure out how to deal with it from a narrative perspective. So in addition to being an escape film for viewers, we also need to honor his legacy and tell a story based on the things he likes about this franchise and the contributions he has made to his involvement. I think we can see the film under two different lenses, similar to pure entertainment, but also under a cathartic aspect. And we need to be aware of both of these points of view in the course of production. “
