20 years after breaking up, 49-year-old Ben Affleck and 52-year-old Jennifer Lopez played the wedding they dreamed of. The reception, to which the couple invited, it seems, all their friends, was held last Saturday at Affleck’s estate in Riseborough, Georgia. The lovers did everything so that not a single photo became public ahead of time. That is why they asked the guests to hand over their phones and set up a police detachment to watch the paparazzi surrounding the mansion. It can be seen from the pictures that the bride went to the altar, where the host of the ceremony and friend Jennifer Jay Shayty was waiting for the lovers, in a stunning white Ralph Loren dress with a puffy train and a long veil – the singer’s children helped carry her. Ben was wearing a white tuxedo, black bow tie and black pants. And he was, perhaps, one of those who were allowed to violate the white dress code of the holiday that day.
Everyone came to the wedding. Including Ben Affleck’s childhood friend Matt Damon with his wife Luciana, director Kevin Smith and actor Jason Mewes. But Affleck’s brother Casey decided to ignore the wedding, citing “unforeseen family obligations.” The ex-wife of Ben, Jennifer Garner, also refused the invitation – according to her, she was shooting at that time.
