HQ-based LGBTQ+ romance series Heartstopper gets official trailer for Netflix
Inspired by the comics Alice Oseman, heartstopper is the new LGBTQ+ romance series from Netflix which won the official trailer this Wednesday, 13. The production follows the relationship of Charlie (Joe Locke) and Nick (Kit Connor) and comes to streaming on April 22.
shy and insecure, Charlie fall in love with Nick, a popular rugby player at the high school where they study. When they are paired up in one of the classes, an unlikely friendship develops between the two. Nonetheless, Charlie is openly gay, while Nick is straight.
Despite knowing the problems that this passion can bring, Charlie don’t ignore feelings and also Nick begins to question what he really feels for his friend. With the help of their friends, the two embark on a journey of discovery in a light, romantic and fun plot.
On Twitter, the author Oseman shared a photo of the actors who live the protagonists with the message: “I present Connor Kit and Joe Locke like the Nick it’s the Charlie from the series. I’m so excited to share this photo of them behind the scenes. kit and Joe They are very talented, cute and fun. It’s been so much fun getting to know them. Besides Locke and Connorlist has Jenny Walser, William Gao, Yasmin Finney, Corinna Brown, Kizzy Edgell, Sebastian Croft, Cormac Hyde-Corrin, Tobie Donovan, Rhea Norwood, Fisayo Akinade, Chetna Pandya and Alan Turkington.
