THE Netflix prepares to go up to the dojo once again with the return of Snake Kai(2018), which became one of the most watched series on streaming. For four full seasons, the series was able to develop its own universe by evolving the sequel to karate Kid for something unique and different.

Who returns for season 5 of Snake Kai ?

In addition to Ralph Macchio (Daniel LaRusso) and William Zabka (JohnnyLawrence), the cast has the return of Xolo Maridueña (Michael Diaz) Tanner Buchanan (Robby Keene), Courtney Henggeler (Amanda LaRusso) Mary Mouser (Samantha LaRusso), Thomas Ian Griffith (terry Silver), Martin Kove (John Kreese) and more.

Furthermore, it is known from the final episodes of Season 4 that Chozen Toguchi (Yuji Okimoto), a character who was LaRusso’s rival in Karate Kid 2 (1986), will return for the fifth year of Snake Kai.

What is the story of season 5 of Snake Kai ?

After the shocking results of All Valey’s Karate Tournament, Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith) tries to expand the empire Snake Kai and make the “no mercy” style of karate dominate the region, with the possible help of old friends.

with the arrest of John Kreese (Martin Kove), the (former) friend and founder of the dojo and with Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) outside of martial arts, Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) will need to ask a person from the past for help and join forces with the old rival, Chozen (Yuji Okumoto).

About that, Johnny and Robby (Tanner Buchanan) go after Miguel (Xolo Maridueña), who left for Mexico in search of his biological father. However, the relationship between teenagers is not the best and Johnny you will need to work hard to keep things under control.

Season 5 teaser Snake Kai

THE Netflix announced the renewal of the series in August 2021, when the episodes of season 4, connected with the film Karate Kid 3 – The Ultimate Challenge (1989) had not yet been released on the platform.

In addition, streaming announced through social networks in May of this year a teaser exciting and full of action scenes, which picks up the finale of the last season and shows some details of the next one.
