Maya Hawke Explained She Wants a ‘Heroin Moment’ for Robin in Stranger Things Season 5 and Final
It is quite common to see actors and actresses with a desire for their character to die, whether in movies or series. This is the case of Maya Hawkewho wants what Robin Buckley dies in the fifth and final season of Stranger Thingsone of the biggest series in the history of Netflix.
During an interview with Rolling Stone USA, the actress commented on the reasons for wanting the character’s death. “Well, it’s the last season, so people are probably going to die,” she stated. “I would love to die and have the heroine moment. I would love to die with honor, as any actor would. But I love the way Duffer Brothers love their actors.”
Then, Hawke took the opportunity to praise Matt and Ross Duffer: “The reason they write so beautifully for me and everyone else is because they fall in love with the actors and characters, and they don’t want to kill them. It’s a beautiful quality of them, and I wouldn’t like it to go away.”
In another subject, the interviewer asked the actress if she would like a spin-off with robin and Steve Harrington (Joe Keery) in the 1990s. “Where we go to New York and we’re just partying at the clubs and figuring out our stuff,” he imagined. “Usually I wouldn’t be an advocate of a derivative, but if I could do that with Joe KeeryI’d do anything.”

Maya Hawke (Stranger Things) and Camila Mendes (Riverdale) are the protagonists of the new dark comedy of Netflix. Entitled Punishersthe film arrives on streaming on September 16 this year.
