“The Flash” actor Ezra Miller has pleaded not guilty to theft. He faces up to 26 years in prison.
Although DC’s Flash movie is slated for a June 21, 2023 release date, Ezra Miller may be in jail when the feature film is released.
A Vermont court actually convicted the actor of theft last August. Ezra Miller was seen on surveillance video and by witnesses on the evening of the crime. The homeowner filed a complaint for breaking and entering and theft (including several bottles of alcohol).
The Flash translator pleads not guilty and faces up to 26 years in prison and more than $2,000 in fines.
In the United States, theft can carry up to 25 years in prison, and theft of items worth less than $1,000 can send you behind bars for 1 year.
