The other day, endocrinologist Alina Alkasheva, in an interview with one of the Russian publications, announced a list of products that most harm women’s health. The expert pointed out that they are dangerous, because in the long term they can lead to the most unpleasant consequences.

First of all, Alkasheva recommended women not to abuse sugar because of the risk of obesity, which can then lead to insulin resistance, cardiovascular disease, polycystic ovary syndrome and atherosclerosis.

Sugar also has a detrimental effect on our skin: it stops the production of collagen and leads to premature aging. The endocrinologist clarified that the safest daily dose of simple carbohydrates for women is 50 grams.

The doctor also advised me to abstain from alcohol. According to the endocrinologist, ethyl alcohol has a toxic effect on the intestinal microflora, impairing the absorption of vitamins, minerals, fats, proteins and carbohydrates.
