James Cameron has announced what will be the official title of the highly anticipated Avatar 2a sequel to the 2009 hit coming more than a decade later.
During the CinemaCon 2022 convention, the legendary director, along with producer Jon Landau, presented the film to Disney’s panel, where all the upcoming cinematic novelties of Mickey Mouse’s house. Below you will see the movie logo with the official title, Avatar: The Water Waywhich will be localized in Italian as Avatar: The Water Way:
The official title confirms what can be inferred from the first concept art released, that is a strong connection to the marine world of Pandora. Cameron himself has never hidden a desire to bring history to the planet’s oceans, a goal that led the cast to undergo intense diving training. At the beginning of the year Zoe Saldana he then confirmed in an interview how motion capture technology has also been successfully adapted to the water context:
