First, because of this, the risk of constipation increases, and only then – the next hemorrhoidal exacerbations.

There are special sets of exercises aimed at maintaining health in the presence of a tendency to constipation and hemorrhoids. Thanks to them, intestinal motility and blood circulation improve – without a dangerous load on the abdominal cavity.

The main exercise against the development of hemorrhoids, doctors call the well-known stand of Birch – you have probably tried it more than once. In this position, the load on the abdominal muscles is reduced, and blood stasis in the pelvic region is eliminated.

  • Lie on your back, put your hands along the body

  • Slowly raise your legs and lower your back supporting the body with your hands

  • Rest your elbows on the floor and stay upright for about a minute.

  • Gently lower your back and legs using your hands

If you wish, from the “Birch” you can briefly move your legs behind your head and hold the “Plow” pose. This position also has a beneficial effect on the health of the pelvic organs. The main thing is not to exercise immediately after a bowel movement, so that the muscles of the perineum are not in an inflamed state of tension.
