Australian podcaster Abbie Chatfield has publicly shamed former NRL player Brayden Musgrove after he directed an abusive comment at her social media post about depression.
The 31-year-old media personality took to her Instagram stories on Monday to expose the former Newcastle Knights player. She shared two screenshots identifying Musgrove after he called her a "b****" in the comments section of her post.
Chatfield published a screenshot of Musgrove's private Instagram account alongside a direct response to his insult. "I think [Brayden] must have felt like a really big boy commenting 'shut up b****' on a post about me speaking about depression," she wrote across the image.
She then targeted his brief professional rugby league career, uploading a photo of Musgrove posing proudly in his club footy jersey from his time playing in the National Rugby League.
"Is this u?" Chatfield asked next to the image from his last professional appearance.

"Maybe sad about the (lack of) NRL footy career? Is that why you commented 'shut up b****' on my post?" she added.
Musgrove previously played for the Newcastle Knights, a professional rugby league team based in New South Wales that competes in Australia's premier NRL competition.
Social media reaction and stage tour success
The online confrontation follows Chatfield's successful national stage tour, titled Abbie Chatfield Loves Men. The live tour saw her travel across Australia to perform for audiences while showcasing her commentary and love for fashion.
In July, the television and podcast star generated attention on social media by posting a photo of a striking pink and black ensemble that highlighted her playful style.
The outfit featured a pink latex corset with off-the-shoulder delicate straps and a structured waist, paired with a sheer black polka-dot mesh skirt. She styled the look with pink winged eye makeup, bronzed skin, and soft brunette waves draped over one shoulder.
The bold look prompted a public response from her boyfriend, 35-year-old musician Adam Hyde, who left supportive comments on the Instagram post.
"You are too hot and insanely intelligent to be true," Hyde wrote alongside the photo.

"This show genuinely blew my mind. The world is lucky to have you," Hyde added in a second comment, to which Chatfield replied: "I love you."
Adam Hyde and the A-list party encounter
Hyde is best known as one half of the popular Australian electronic music duo Peking Duk, and also performs solo under the moniker Keli Holiday.
On Friday, the musician made headlines during an appearance on the Hit Network radio show Carrie and Tommy when he recounted a surreal encounter with Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio.
Hyde revealed that the Oscar-winning actor once attempted to hit on his girlfriend during an exclusive celebrity gathering held for NBA star Ben Simmons' birthday.
"I got a tap on the shoulder and it was Leonardo DiCaprio and his mate asking for a smoke," Hyde told radio hosts Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little.
The Dancing2 hitmaker admitted that being approached by the American actor left him completely stunned at the party.
However, Hyde quickly realized that the actor's approach might have been motivated by the woman accompanying him rather than a request for a cigarette.
Hyde did not disclose the identity of the former girlfriend involved in the incident, nor did he state when the star-studded event took place.
