Nicole Kidman is dating Los Angeles businessman Michael Reinstein, according to a source, who said the actress is enjoying a casual new relationship following her divorce from Keith Urban.
"Nicole is dating again after her divorce from Keith and has been seeing businessman Michael Reinstein," a source told Us Weekly on Thursday. "It is casual, and she is having fun."
Kidman, 59, was married to Urban, 58, for nearly two decades before their split was announced a year ago this month. She finalized her divorce from the country singer at the beginning of this year.
In late July, Kidman was spotted on a romantic getaway with Reinstein in Portofino, Italy. The pair have since returned to Los Angeles, where she has been busy promoting her new film, Practical Magic 2.
The insider said Kidman and Reinstein were set up by mutual friends, adding that the actress had also gone on several dates with other people that had not worked out. "She has also been on several dates with other people, and her friends are always trying to set her up," the source added.

Reinstein is a Los Angeles native and the founder, chairman and chief executive of Regent, a Beverly Hills-based global private equity firm he launched in 2013.
Kidman and Urban's Relationship Since the Divorce
Kidman's relationship with her ex-husband has also reportedly improved since their split, the insider said. The "dust has really settled" and the former couple are "in a much better place now."
"There's still a lot of respect between them despite everything they went through," the insider continued.
Kidman and Urban's Marriage and Family
Kidman and Urban were married for 19 years before she filed for divorce in September 2025 and publicly announced their split. They share two teenage daughters, Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15.
Kidman also has two adopted children, Bella and Connor, both of whom are now adults, with her former husband Tom Cruise.
Support From Reese Witherspoon and Sandra Bullock
In the wake of the divorce, Kidman leaned on close friends and fellow actresses Reese Witherspoon and Sandra Bullock, the source said, adding that the pair "were there for her through a lot of it." Filming the long-awaited sequel to the 1998 film Practical Magic was a welcome distraction, the insider added.
"Being back filming [Practical Magic 2] with Sandra was actually really nice for Nicole because it gave her this sense of familiarity and home during a time when so much in her life was changing," the insider shared.
"She's doing really well now; she's happy, and it feels like she's finally on the other side of everything," the source said. "She is always very positive to be around and is super confident. She is a great role model to her girls and is optimistic about this next chapter."
Kidman Addressed the Divorce in March
Earlier this year, Kidman broke her silence on the divorce during an interview with Variety, two months after her legal separation from Urban was finalized. "I'm always going to be moving toward what's good," she said at the time.
"What I'm grateful for is my family and keeping them as is and moving forward. That's that. Everything else I don't discuss out of respect," she continued. "I'm staying in a place of, 'We are a family,' and that's what we'll continue to be. My beautiful girls, my darlings, who are suddenly women."
