Television host Andy Cohen took his two children trick-or-treating in New York City on Halloween alongside his boyfriend, Kevin Sobieski, and longtime friend Anderson Cooper.

On Saturday, the 58-year-old Bravo broadcaster posted a series of photographs on Instagram showing how his family spent the holiday and the costumes they wore for the occasion. "Happy Halloween from New York City," Cohen wrote in the caption, placing the message between two jack-o'-lantern emojis.

In one photograph from the outing, Cohen and Sobieski, a 42-year-old businessman, dressed as Jedi knights from the Star Wars franchise alongside Cohen's seven-year-old son Benjamin, who dressed as the villainous Sith lord Darth Maul. In the science fiction franchise created by George Lucas, Jedi knights serve as peacekeeping guardians, while Darth Maul is the Sith antagonist introduced in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace.
Halloween outing with Benjamin and Lucy
Cohen is the father of seven-year-old Benjamin and four-year-old daughter Lucy, both of whom were born via surrogacy. His Halloween post came a month after he revealed the amount he pays his babysitter to watch the two children for a couple of hours.

The television personality also shared photographs of Benjamin alongside Lucy, who dressed up as a butterfly to go trick-or-treating through the city.

In another image from the holiday outing, Cohen took his daughter to a playground, where the two took a break from trick-or-treating so Lucy could play on the swings.

At one point during the walk, Cohen, Sobieski and the children met up with Cooper while trick-or-treating. In a photograph from the meetup, Cohen posed alongside Cooper, who wore a skeleton onesie for the holiday.
Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper friendship
Cohen and Cooper have been friends for three decades and serve as occasional co-hosts on television and on stage. The pair have co-hosted the annual New Year's Eve Live broadcast on Cable News Network (CNN) since 2017, when Cohen replaced comedian Kathy Griffin on the programme. The two friends also tour North America together with their live conversation show, AC2: An Intimate Evening with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen.
Outside their joint projects, Cohen is best known as the host and executive producer of the late-night talk show Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on the Bravo cable network, as well as an executive producer of the Real Housewives reality television franchise. Before joining Bravo, Cohen worked as a television news producer at CBS News on The Early Show and 48 Hours. Cooper is the primary anchor of the CNN news programme Anderson Cooper 360 and a correspondent for the CBS News magazine programme 60 Minutes.
Relationship with boyfriend Kevin Sobieski
Cohen has been dating Sobieski since the pair met at a Fourth of July party in 2025, though they did not go public with their relationship until a year later.

In June, Cohen explained that he had not been hiding his relationship with Sobieski and said the two often went out together in New York City. Speaking on his SiriusXM satellite radio show, Radio Andy, in June, Cohen opened up about his partner and referred to Sobieski as "the one." Cohen launched the daily Radio Andy channel on SiriusXM in 2015.

"I am really happy to say that I met the person," Cohen said during the June broadcast. He described his relationship with Sobieski as "so easy" and said the couple never argue or disagree.
"We just view life the same way," Cohen said of his connection with Sobieski. "One year later, I still can't believe I found him."
Introducing Kevin Sobieski to the children
During the same Radio Andy appearance in June, Cohen said that he and his boyfriend took time getting to know each other and were intentional about when and how Sobieski met Benjamin and Lucy.
"This man is kind and strong and smart, and he is an adult, and he loves my children, and they love him," Cohen said.
"We have been so slow and deliberate and methodical about getting to know each other and introducing him to the kids and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly," he said.
